The PACAWA Newsletter is published
three times a year, in mid-February, mid-May and mid-September. The newsletter informs members and interested others of forthcoming
meetings and guest speakers. It also provides important information about developments within the counselling
and psychotherapy fields occurring at state and national level. Members are encouraged to contribute to their
newsletter by submitting articles and advertising interesting events and forums.

Email advertising of counselling related workshops may also be circulated to members at a cost of $50.00 per page, via the administrator. This is undertaken at the discretion of the management of PACAWA. Circulation does not represent an endorsement of the advertisement.
The newsletter is distributed to all PACAWA members, as well as to training bodies and counselling agencies in Western Australia.
2010 Overall Theme:
Wisdom Mind and Practice Based Evidence in Psychotherapy and Counselling
All members of PACAWA are invited and encouraged to contribute articles relevant to psychotherapy and counselling practices. Issues and concerns related to the theme will have preference.
Newsletter articles and snippets are conversational pieces of writing shared between peers about work in progress. The newsletter is not intended as a formal academic journal.
Closing dates for submitting articles in the forthcoming year are:

Articles on the theme can be submitted as a Word document in an email attachment. These are limited to 1200 words or under. Shorter commentaries are welcome. Articles are published at the discretion of the editor and editorial committee.
Published articles are made available on the PACAWA website following publication of the newsletter unless requested otherwise at the time of submission.
